Bholu is a company created by an Australian designer who works with local seamstresses in India.  Nearly everything is made of exquisite wool felt in striking, earth tones with subtle, modern embroidered accents.  Fair trade products that help sustain local communities.  Great baby gifts too.

Bholu's baby/children's "bubalah" range is based on drawings done by kids in underprivileged communities in India.  Bholu sponsors art workshops that give children, ages 3-7 yrs, a little time to draw and create instead of work.  These animals make very special toys or keepsakes.
